About

Jen Leo is a problogger and new-media consultant to the online travel world. She launched the Los Angeles Times travel blog, but her teen job as a SeaWorld costume character is more impressive at parties. Jen has been active on Twitter since the early days and was included in Christopher Elliott’s list of 50 Travel Twitterers You Should Follow. She’s a nut for finding the next big thing—on- and offline—and sharing what she learns with others along the way.

In 2003 Jen edited Sand in My Bra, the first in what would become an award-winning five-book travel humor series. Since then she’s launched blogs for companies like Weblogs, Inc. and Six Apart, written for other popular travel brands such as the BootsnAll Travel Network, and co-founded the review site BestKidsApps.com for tech-savvy parents.

Jen met her husband at a Vegas poker tournament overlooking the Bellagio fountains, got married on 7-7-07, and twittered her daughter’s birth the following year. She believes that misadventures lead to the best stories, anyone can have a good time in Las Vegas, and making kids laugh should be a competitive sport.
